Richard Jones - Managing Director
Richard Jones is Managing Director of e2eResearch, which is wholy owned by EETDT.
Richard Jones is Chief Executive of East of England Telematics Development Trust.
Richard founded the East of England Telematics Development Trust (EETDT), of which he has been the Chief Executive since 1997. He was instrumental in the early stages of developing the successful East of England Broadband Network (E2BN), and was Project Management Consultant to the successful East Midlands Broadband Consortium (embc). He has considerable research experience in Broadband, Rural Connectivity, e-Government, Developing Online Communities and how ICT leads to changes in the Patterns of Working. Richard is also Senior Consultant designate at the Informatics Research Centre (IRC) at Reading University.

Richard heads a Project Management consultancy with extensive experience especially in the fields of Broadband, ICT, e-Government and e-Learning. A key element of RDJ Consultants’s work over many years has been developing and co-ordinating effective Public/ Private Sector Partnerships for project funding. Richard has spent the greater part of the last eight years meeting with local authorities and other regional stakeholders across public, voluntary and private sectors, raising awareness, identifying joint ventures and co-funding opportunities.
Richard has had sixteen years senior management experience of building effective regional partnerships involving Government Departments, Regional Offices and Agencies, Local Authorities, Universities, Business Links, Chambers of Commerce, SMEs and NGfL funded projects. Over the last six years, RDJ Consultants have had a nearly 100% success rate in securing funding for our clients projects.
