Richard has considerable research experience in Broadband, Rural Connectivity, e-Government, Developing Online Communities and how ICT leads to changes in the Patterns of Working.

Richard was the Project Management Consultant for South Cambridgeshire District Council on their Broadband Networking Project for two years.




e-Government Projects:

Richard has worked with a number of clients on e-Government and ICT projects:

EERA - Regional e-Government Research Project

Richard managed the Research team for EERA, to conduct a Regional e-Government Research investigating the levels of e-Government preparedness and activity across six counties, five Unitary Authorities and 38 District and Borough Councils. This included developing, running and evaluating an online survey and questionnaire. The project produced an Initial Study Report; see http://www.egovt.uk.net/Report.pdf.

EERA - East of England e-Government Forum Research Project

Richard managed the Research team for EERA, to conduct an East of England e-Government Forum Research Project. This included developing, running and evaluating an online survey and questionnaire.

Other ICT Projects:

Richard Jones managed a Strategic Consultancy team for the LoG-IN project (http://www.login-project.net) : a project for the development of a Generic Information Infrastructure - to develop SME focussed e-Government and e-Procurement services across three member states Belgium, Germany and the UK.
